Released in 2024, the Celeste Collection from James Martin Vanities (JMV) contains a blend of elements found in both minimalistic and contemporary design styles with features including embossed Shagreen drawer facings, toggle-style metallic hardware, and creative hints of texture. Largely seen as a subcategory within today’s modern style, minimalistic style embraces a “less is more” approach with clean lines. Today, minimalist style is often described using terms such as sleek, streamlined, and open.

Think minimalist style is too simple? Think again! In reality, minimalist bathroom designs generally contain natural elements, accent colors, texture, and contrast. Using natural wood is an excellent means of adding an earthy feel to the space, such as with a vanity, paneling, or seating options.

For added texture, minimalist designs often feature tile on walls or floors with unique patterns or shapes. In terms of exhibiting contrast, minimalist spaces may contain both light and dark shades or have surfaces that are smooth and glossy, coupled with less-refined, matte finishes.

48” Single Celeste Vanity

• Eight full-extension drawers and one tip-out style drawer feature soft-close under-mount drawer glides and laminate drawer liners
• The single tip-out drawer contains a removable bamboo tray
• A removable drawer organizer that matches the wood finish and brushed aluminum drawer lining for ease of cleaning

Each Celeste bathroom vanity has these features:  

• The Sunwashed Oak finish is cerused, which adds a natural vibe, and is outfitted with sleek acrylic and Champagne Brass accented hardware
• Solid Oak and Poplar frames are blended with selective veneers and Medium Density Fiberboard panels that are moisture-resistant
• Drawer facings composed of faux-Shagreen panels with English dovetail joinery
• Vanity cabinets measure roughly 24” deep and are available in your choice of marble, Silestone, or solid surface tops with white porcelain rectangular sinks.
